Is there some reason the version number was changed from 9.2.2.1029 to 9.2.0.1030 ? I would think going from 9.2.2 > to 9.2.0 would indicate a step backwards and confuse everyone.
Speaking of confusion, does anyone actually know how all these "new" versions of RST keep popping up on SD but not Intel? Do they have a leaky beta program? BTW, I found today that installing the latest chipset software followed by RST (a reboot in between, of course) doesn't work. The RST program throws an error. You have to get the F6 version of RST and install it into Device Manager, reboot, and THEN install the full RST. That's all with the official version. The SD version may not have the issue.
#Info removed# Ungrateful replys! All I wanted was to tell you that a new version is out. I delete everything (enjoy)
Thanks for the links. The question is whether the Intel Smart Response Technology(SSD Caching) is supported on other chipsets besides the Z68,HM67 and QM67
Hi, never considered the ReadMe, I just go dowm the list updating drivers. Either way, too bad we have to go through the trouble. Even though the existing drivers may work, some people, usually the enthusiast prefer updated drivers. After updating the I/O Hub PCI Express Root Ports from the 2006 MS driver to the most recent Intel driver, the board ran much smoother.
