    Sorry Dude

Intel bioses are completely unique and the only mod that can be done to them currently is adding SLP 1.0 for Windows XP Activation , you cant put SLIC into them :(

Untrue. Some .BIO files contain AMI bios. The ITK bios are EFI and this is true for them..No mods for ITK past SLP...

I will check the bios....If it is AMI .BIO it can be done

This is EFI and cannot be modded. You should try and see for future Intel .BIO files. I do not have a list of modifiable boards, but they seem to be a bit older.

I have successfully modified the bios of my Intel motherboard DG33FB. And windows 7 has been activated. I used this slic 2.1 bin Hp[HPQOEMSLIC-BPC]2.1

My method will work for you too. I have modified your bios.

Modified bios for DG35EC with slic 2.1 bin Hp[HPQOEMSLIC-BPC]2.1

I have a 2004 Intel MB and it has a .bio file too - can mine be done?

-Motherboard Manufacturer & Model : Intel Rock Lake D865PERLL
    -Bios Revision : RL86510A.86A.0085.P19.0406281350
    -Bios Type : AMI
-Bios SLIC : It has none, but I want to use it for booting to both Vista & Win7
    -Bios Link : P19-0085.BIO

I've read I can use the INTEL2AMI.exe to extract it to a .ROM and mod it with slic.exe and push it back, etc, but it would be nice to have someone do it that has been there 100 times before...

I've just compared by content two files - posted by free7 and original bio file. The only difference is SLIC table. on the place of some original code. I don't understand how it may work. Everyone can do it with hex editor, but it should ruin bios if to use common sense.

I'm sorry to report back to you 911medic that your updated P19-0085.BIO with HP SLIC 2.1 did not work at all - it would not continue the flash procedure and prompted unsuccessful each time I tried it.

To be sure the flash procedure I use was working right, I was able to take the original P19-0085.BIO and re-update it just fine, it goes through the beeps.... etc, Then I even test flashed some more by flashing to a later version intel original P21-0089.BIO update, and that process worked fine too, but since I wanted to stay with the P19-0089.BIO version I flashed it back to that which worked just fine again too - so I know my flash procedure works - and one last time I tried using your SLIC 2.1 updated P19-0089.BIO again - and it just won't take!

I like that you used the HP slic 2.1 and would like to get that to work for the P19.

I am not as familiar with these as I would like to be. It is recently that we used this tool. I do not know why it wont take. Does it error or offer any info, or it just wont flash??

I can remod it, but I use a tool to extract the AMI bios from the .BIO, mod the AMI, then reintroduce the file into the .bio. maybe something happend in the procedure, but it seems the bios would flash or offer some errors...
