Guys i have to remind one thing again and again... First please open your bios(.bio file) with any hex editor,if it is return as E.F.I Firmware... there is no use in posting just wasting your precious time.. We all must wait till a tool get released for mod EFI Bioses
Weird ppl, what are they waiting for, making all these requests? Nobody will mod your Intel bios's because it's poinless - they will not be flashable. If you indeed want to insert SLIC in your bios - try what 1234s282 suggested and report if you had any success or not, there's no any other way with this type of EFI BIOS. I'll put it more clearly: usual procedure of "post request with link to bios - get back modded bios file - flash it" will NEVER work with Intel EFI *.bio files - they are just "another case".
Oh i thought this would work for all Intel UEFI boards - thats what the translation said Sorry Everyone 1234s282
OA2Intel Hi to everyone, In order to program Slic 2.1 in intel motherboards you will need this tool OA2Intel (Dos or Win Version), but instead of use only pubkeu.bin and marker.bin you will need to PKsign.bin (public Key encrypted). I've sucessfull programed several Intel motherboards and is no need to mod bios. you can program it online directly on bios. For professional reason Iam not able to provide marker or pubkey but I will provide pksign for study. If anyone are able to help creating pksign for known markers and Pubkey I will leave my contribut. Best Regards
As I told before this aplication doesn't mod the bios. This is for program the bios online. so you dont have to flash it. Thx
PKSIGN looks like a usual 2048-bit RSA1 public key, if it was so, then logically it could be used with any proper pair of slic's marker and pubkey. But the tool's help message says it's "encrypted oem public key file", thus it should be tied to unencrypted 1024-bit pubkey somehow, so it's probably a 1024-bit public key+1024-bit signature?
This text I found insyde the utility: OEM Activation 2.0 Utility - X006 Copyright (C) 2004-2007, Intel Corporation Distributed under restricted license. Do not redistribute. USAGE: OA2INTEL update <filename1> <filename2> <filename3> OA2INTEL erase OA2INTEL setmarker <filename2> OA2INTEL status filename1 = OEM Public Key File filename2 = Marker File filename3 = Encrypted OEM Public Key File
Lordviking - I have two similar systems with Intel DG31PR motherboards one Vista and the other XP. I want to enable Win 7 OEM activation for both. The Vista system already has SLIC 2.1 in BIOS according to SLIC Toolkit but the XP has no SLIC table. Can this OA2INTEL utility save and copy the SLIC 2.1 table from the one system to the other?
