Sorry WhiteDevil the HP files you gave is still not working for me,i downloaded the windows kit and then ran tht hp.cmd as admin after restart the SLICDUMP toolkit says no SLIC,sorry i am not interested in checking the DOS ver. All other say Asus,Dell,JPSCSA is working for me except HP..
Agreed! I am not going to worry at all. Given my past experience with intel bios, it has been a real pain to meaningfully modify. Even as an enthusiast who enjoys tweaking gaming rigs, I will vouch for Asus or Gigabyte boards. I use ITK tools and hex editor to compare the original bios to the current one. There is the possibility of editing the marker fields but successfuly modding the EFI intel bios is a pain. I will only advice this for advance bios users and those with an 'eeprom' bios machine handy. Do not do this cause the bios may not accept the mod and brick the machine. I even updated the bios normally from intel and compared the results. As you know, the regular bios update does not change the marker field. ..And I have to say for intel bios if it ain't broke do not fix it. The tool basically updates the bios information, so it does not really 'mod' it. A very helpful tool does the job required . My experience is that some boards work better with the dos method instead of windows. I prefer the dos method myself, especially for the extreme boards. So anyone having problems should at least give the pure dos method a try before getting frustrated. As darthvidor said sometimes pubkey marker and pksign in that order gives better results.
pkaji123 try use original PKSIGN.BIN instead of HPsign.bin. Or use jsign.BIN it's same as PKSIGN.BIN. You try oa2intel at Desktop board or Server board?
Intel Server board+slic 2.1 Then is it possible to mod Intel server board BIOS using WindSLIC? If not, anyone having info regarding any modded BIOS of workstation/server board model by MSI,Gigabyte or ASUS?
Can confirm this works on the D945CGLF2 cheapie Atom 330 board (was an earlier report on the original CGLF single-core board).
Not working on Intel DP55KG motherboard. oa2intel report all 3 rows as "PROGRAMMED", all operation done success not error in this software but not slic table found in bios under slic tools, nor win activated with certificates. Edit: asus, dell,hp not working jpscca working and creating slic table but I don't have cert to activate for test
I followed the instructions for using the ao2intelwin, OpaTool and Slicl_ToolKit and installed only DELL in this mainboard (DG45ID) and Win 7 X64 Ultimate is fully activated
This also works fine on DP55WB, providing you use jsign.BIN or PKSIGN.BIN Appears these can be used for asus/dell/hp marker and pubkey.
