Thanks for the feedback... actually the Depo package uses original signing binary, whereas the previous package uses signing tool of JPSCSA. Most of the boards don't complain about it, but some boards refuses to enable slic even if showing programmed. May be that is the reason behind your story.

I used intel Intel motherboard and it is good for me because it is working good.Intel bioses are completely unique and the only mod that can be done to them currently is adding SLP 1.0 for Windows XP Activation , you cant put SLIC into them.

    Hi ! Tito

I find the intel's tool need marker.bin, pubkey.bin and sign.bin in order to add SLIC. But, Andy's Tool needs only a combined slic.bin (i.e. marker.bin and pubkey.bin combined together) In fact, what is the use of sign.bin ?

    Thanks in advance

Actually Intel's tool requires the marker & pubkey separately & it writes & validates them by the help of sign.bin. Andyp's tool integrates slic in different way & automatically cut the full slic when necessary.

    Hi ! Tito

Thanks for your explanation. I find the Intel's tool is the official way to add slic that is as same as AMI's original tool do. Besides, I find the sign.bin is also programmed into rom. Anyway, I tested the mod UEFI by Andy's tool and Intel's tool. They both passed the Windows Activation and can boot through UEFI boot with Windows 7 secure boot updated. May be there is some difference that is unknown to us ? Anyway, thanks.

    SLIC 2.1 on Intel DZ77GA-70K

I posted originally in the Bios Mod Request Forum, but am wondering, will the OA2INTEL tool work for this board? It tells me I am not using an Intel Board. Must I use the OA3 tool? (There is none)... According to Intel's site, I need a bin file from Microsoft to insert SLIC. It is now integrated into the Intel Integrtor tool, and there is no longer really a tool to insert slic. I just need a bin file. Does anyone have this? If anyone needs more info I can copy and paste what I found...
