Why do you think Microsoft has not said one word about all the privacy complaints?
Because they spy and can't admit it!
If they do not spy they would make public statement by now saying it. Silence means much.
Microsoft will not steal your bank accounts or money. It will learn everything about your life and sell the info to the government.

I predict in 10 years it will make sense to you. Governments want to know everything about people they want to control.

Simply that foil was made of tin and the term remained. Not just in English. For example, in Italian the aluminium foil is still often referred as "carta stagnola" that can be translated as "tinny paper".

After all in the US the automobiles are still called "cars" even if no real horses are involved, for the same reason.

i think all these spy things are meaningless or non avoidable.

you are using skype(messenger)/hotmail/gmail/yahoo etc for years. they know what you search, what you email, who you talk, what you talk etc.
you are using their dns. they know which websites you visit.
your data pass through their main gateways. they can see your data (SSL is useless for them, they already have backdoors and master keys, powerfull computers etc)
you are using youtube/dailymotion/etc. they know what you like, what you watch, what you listen
you are using twitter/facebook, they know what you have in your mind, what you believe, how you behave etc.

if you have an internet connection then you can not avoid being watched.

you are using credit cards. they know what you buy, where you buy, which things you use/eat/wear etc.
as long as you don't use real money you can't avoid being monitored.

why is that ridiculous? all those databases are easily accessible to goobernment agencies, the problem they have in US is that they can not do such thing themselves legally , so they outsource it to micoshaft goggle att verizon and others,

safest way is to have and use 2 factor authentication.

Most banks should have this with their internet banking.
