    I want to know which is the best internet download manager today ?
    It can be free or paid, but needs to work with W 8.1.

    Internet Download Manager as mentioned above

    best purchase I made for 29 USD

    It also allows you to download any video on the web (flash based or quicktime, etc) in addition to speeding up your downloads by a big margin
