    Is anyone going to allow windows update to update your IE8 to RTM when it's avaliable?

    Why/why not?

    I think it fair to conclude that you have an issue in mind. I cannot speak for anyone else but a more informative post would likely pique my detailed response - not that that is something to crow about.

    Might you consider something like, "I am wondering about updating to IE8 RTM when it becomes available (within the next two weeks) because . . . . On the other hand, I have heard/in my experience, such updates . . . . Anyone have any thoughts on the pros and cons?"

    Or is this a poll question?

    I installed IE8 RTM to Vista x64 SP1, OEM SLP Bios hack is still functioning, Windows remained activated.

    (If the original poster meant this?)
