    Anyone know how to make a new msu file for the new version 9.0.5 ?

    i am looking for the complete install file for 9.05.0, not a windows update patch. Microsoft have posted an updated exe offline installer but i can not find an msu, i therefore an looking to convert the exe to msu file.? so that i can inject into install,wim

    You are mistaken, this is the full offline IE9 9.0.5 installer, MS releases them whenever a security update is released for IE9. And you will be able to integrate IE9 9.0.5 using this msu file.

    There is no such version, yet!

    Downloaded internet explorer 9 from:

    hxxp://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/downloads/ie-9/worldwide-languages

    i.e. product version is 9.08.8112.16421

    I'll have a look, and get back to you, cause i'm going to try installing this update (cause i hate to argue with anyone.)

    Update: I have successfully reinstalled the new IE9-Win7.msu and it is 9.0.5 and the proof is attached below.
