Hate is your own word. I never said I hate IE. I still use it for downloading Microsoft stuffs. I prefer Firefox at the moment over IE.
Please do not try to judge me.

My point is, you didnt try it your self... you just write your "ie sucks post" on something that you didnt have any expiriance with in 6 years (your own words) and what other write about current beta, so ye you must really hate it or just have WAAAY to much time on your hands (like i do currently writing this silly posts) :)

You have a problem of understanding English? I said I don't use IE in general for the past 6 years except for updating M$ stuffs. That means I sparingly use IE8/IE7 for the past 6 years except for updating M$ stuffs. How do you conclude that I have no experience with IE for the past 6 years? Read my post again. You are the one that got burn with IE9 Beta and complained about it. I just merely comment about m$ IE browser playing catch up. That is hate? Do you work for M$ or its affiliates? I own m$ stock, do you? Hate?

haha clown... can i touch you since you own MS stocks??? i guess you think this makes you important???? Also its BETA, i expect bugs, people (you included) obviously dont undestand that BETA usualy means BUGS, if i post anything and ANY bug is just to see if someone else is noticing it as well and if there is some workaround, not to COMPLAIN about BUGS in BETA product.

PS: grow up... writing M$ instead of MS or Microsoft is not l33t, but just shows you are some kid full of him self. Now im waiting threats that you will hack me or something...

EDIT: and no im not working for MS, i dont care about MS at all, however i hate this silly IE/MS hate bandwagon most of firefox fanboys are geting on... I never say IE is best browser ever, or Firefox is.... or Chrome is, i always say IE is "good enough" to not be bothered with installing somethign else... and when we are at it, Firefox is most BLOATED browser i ever saw, every time im behind my brothers computer i want to shoot my self if i need to do something with Firefox, Chrome is great tho and i would certanly use Chrome unless i wouldn't think of IE being "good enough".

This is probably because 32bit IE is default browser...

    Good point...

...and that's "funny" in IE 9 beta 64 bits version going to internet options>Programs, under Default web browser there is a button "make default" but also and advice:

"Internet Explorer (64-bit) cannot be the default browser."

    LOL

    P.S.: With that kind of "bugs" it can´t be a beta...maybe a pre-beta.

This is not bug... this is intentional. Thing is since plugins like flash/silverlight and others are not made for 64bit IE, they disabled that option... i guess they will enabled it back eventualy.

Everybody asking for 64 bit flash and now is out with ie9...and no silverlight 64?

Is MS really thinking about the real transition to 64 bit?¿?

The button and the advice is silly, better option will be to put only the advice :D

Beta could be faster than the earlier basic builds but nothing to make the switch from Firefox or Chrome.
    Favourites???
Clicking on the icon to open browser leads to a blank screen for sometime (just like IE and recent firefox 4 betas).

Always a risk using a Beta. I'm using Firefox as my default browser, and IE9 Beta as a second browser, to test it out. I don't think IE9 is ready to be the only browser you have on your computer.

Well it just depends how sensitive you are on minor bugs :) thing is Im using maybe ~20 pages on daily basis (pages you open multiple times/day like news, torrent pages, forums...) and until those are working fine i dont care if every other day some random page crashes IE since i know its beta product anyway. But if for example one or two of those 20 pages wouldnt work even in compatibility mode, then i guess i would need to wait for next beta... but until pages im visiting regulary are working fine, i dont complain.

Even more, for example i have ~80 unique pages in my favorites, not even one is crashing IE9 regulary, on some i do need to use compatibility mode if i want them to be usable and some have minor error in rendering in IE9 mode, but thats about it... however i also need to say i did notice some pages might crash from time to time, but i blame ads for those crashes, becase they are totaly random... for example: crashing once, then nothing for day or two... But also saying that, pages DO exist that will crash constantly, but you can call it luck or "lacking of porn links", i dont have any major issues with IE9 and for me its compleatly usable for every day usage...

I think IE9 is going to be best browser when hit the final hopefully will be integrated into W7 SP1.
I just can’t figure it out how to make 64bit default browser now that’s 64 bit flash out.
