Internet not working in Windows 8.1 Preview. Please help!

    You have to bridge your connection. Then it works. Because Oracle will update its software when Windows 8.1 gets RTM status.

    I created a dial up connection for my nokia 5800. The status shows it is connected. There are even transfer of bytes in connection properties. But none of the apps are connecting to server. Ping test also failed. Troubleshooter says DNS srrver isn't working.

    @tito

    Thanks for the reply. But that is exactly whatci have done. Created a new dialup connection and dialled. It is showing that it is connected. Yet there is no access.. Both in browser and in apps, no connection at all.

    wait for sp2 to solve the problem..
    you are not alone and it is not driver issue , it is windows 8.1 problem.
    I gave up on windows 8.1 back to windows 8
