why is the file not a EXE ? is it better to run in BAT?

Also, we can safely say, you can remove option "C" from the program. it seems not needed. as it will always run during windows startup.

 

OK I got my AutoRearm tool setup to convert to VL on install, and it now uses the hybrid task setup.

The difference is although I run it daily to check if it needs rearmed, I only do so when 5 days or less as it means less time spent restoring. I also only restore when rearm count = 0. This is because restore is slow and I worry someone will start office while restoring backup (unlikely though) causing it to brick.

 

Yeah it can run if say, Word is already open. But if nothing is open, and IORRT is in the middle of restoring (so the license info is deleted or not all there yet), and you opened Word, it would brick. But it would be very difficult to hit this timing unless you did it on purpose and even if you did brick it, restoring with office closed would fix it anyway.

Basically no matter how bricked Office 2010 is, if you let it fix then restore a good backup it will be fine. Office does 2 things when repairing and thats fix/reinstall files (like if you deleted OSPPSVC) and rebuild license info and lock it in notifications mode. If the former is good, you can restore to fix the notifications.

And again, its extremely unlikely the user will open office at that time and it brick.

I'm using Win7 64bit and I installed a VL profession plus version of office 2010 after the beta expired.... unfortunately I started playing with the rearm solution in the Toolkit and only later I understood it was limited. Well, the grace period is up, and I can't restore it. even if I uninstall and reinstall Office or even a different VL version I get the notification mode. It's just annoying because I know I can use office normally but the dialogs are annoying.
Right now I'm using 64bit office 2010 volume 14.0.4760.1000. An older version will not restore rearms, I tried it already...
I first tried 32bit, that's when it became like that...
I have tried IORRT but it doesn't work now... it keeps giving error saying it can't activate through KMS and that office is in Notifications licence... I tried KMS client versions, with miniKMS and everything....
I'm kind of new to all this... my product key is the ...-H3GVB, I have tried another one also, some BB4 something..
I wouldn't mind having just Office 2007, but I have work I started on the Beta 2010 on Access, and it's not compatible....
Is there any solution just to stop the notifications? (I don't mind the red, I just hate to keep closing dialog boxes...)

P.S. Would this work in a retail version? I have one.... not commercial.

 

Note EZ-Activator will probably only reset the rearms if it does the "Repair". You could run the License Delete in License Management then EZ-Activator to ensure it resets.

 

It has to be bricked repaired then activated to get fresh rearms

WHAT? never got that before.... but Office's still popping up notifications...

He didn't turn off his AV so it didn't activate. I fixed a bug where it said it did in 2.0.1.

 

I get 0 again.

Should I turn off the AV? and delete the licence?

 

Use 2.0.0 but ensure AV is off.

Run the License Delete let it finish then run EZActivator with AV off.
