    Hello to all,

This is my first post but actually I have been reading along quite some time. Now that IORRT is finished it's time to congratulate timesurfer.

Keeping Office in trial mode forever is one thing. Doing it with only a batch file is another thing. :worthy:
The only questions I have are these:
About the scheduled task, when it runs, does the user notice? Or is it completely silent like kms?
And is it compatible with XP in other languages? I ask this because of the different path names.

I know it's a bit late but when needed I can test on XP.

It's completely silent. Probably works fine on languages

    Is this a permanent activator?

    timesurfer,

I used to wrote nice batch files 12 years ago, and the study of this single piece is being a whole learning for me. First of all, thanks for that. :)

I was wondering. Microsoft can detect and disable this beautiful program? I guess they can if they wish. Even so, changing its name (and the appropriate ocurrences of its name in the code) would disguise it and bring back its funcionality. Again: I'm just wondering, and maybe it's a silly reasoning. Anyway, there's nothing like an open source.

I own myself a Home and Student edition, but I didn't like at all the permanent Microsoft Word statement in the title bar: "for non commercial use" (I'm translating from portuguese, so it can be different in english.) I know which version I bought, I know where to use it and I don't need any warnings from Microsoft.

So welcome to the VL Pro Plus edition. And thank you for IORRT! :worthy:

I don't know what will happen but I am enjoying it as long as it lasts. IR4 lasts still after like 8-9 months

I don't think MS is threatened by non-intergrated, non-activated solutions although IORRT is just like activated in appearance/usage just by restoring/rearming daily or at boot. It's so simple

Yea I really wanted the batch file for office rearm concept

I see... This is not a solution that would lead to mass piracy. That's good.

There are other clever solutions to the same problem, but all of them are prone to AV problems. This one does the job very nicely. "Just like"...

I did take a look at IR4 but it's an executable. I don't want to bother you (and I know that Google is my friend), but can you suggest me links/books or any other reliable source of information about advanced batch scripting? Your work made me eager to meet again that part of my life.

    Thank you. :)
