Thanks. I'm currently reading up on it on technet. Never had the chance to test it and I was curious.

The best thing about an VHD is that you can easy make an backup of it and use that if files get corrupted, that way you can recover from things instantly, just delete the VHD and replace with backup, other then that you can probably do as rmittal proposed.

    @rmittal

IR4 Will work on any "normal" setup so if you go that route IR4 will work ;)

I just want to state that testing things in an virtual enviroment is the best thing you can do, VM Ware and Virtual PC is among the best tools out there to go virtual today.
It gives you that confident of that if something goes wrong you can easy restore and that your main system is untouched.
It's one of thoose tools you can't live without.

I have tested software that work in VM but failed in Real Machine and vice versa. However it does prepare you for some possible eventualities which you may not be able to think about beforehand.

I activated my Win7 VHD using ODIN, Daz loader is also working but it modifies file on system disk (XP Pro Partition).

That's great to hear, as long as you're satisfied rmittal then it shouldn't matter which method you choose.
    Congrats!

Yeah and sometimes not everything work for everybody, the best thing to do is actually test yourself forward to see which solution that fits you most.
I usually test things and if it work like I want it then it stays for good.

If you count the "Rearm Task" as "touched" then just delete it and do manual rearms. Then there is nothing on your machine. Seems though that MS will not seek and destroy a task since they would assume someone using the whole trial would set up a task to automate the rearms. And we did ;) Some people like to be slightly interactive in the windows 7 solution. To actually know what the hack is doing and to be in control of it

I think I have said it earlier but I say it again, the whole idea of using Windows in infinite trial mode is pure genius, and you're absolutely right, Microsoft would never suspect an task in task manager, brilliant.

Well you just told them...lol But I think they won't limit tasks since they they should allow someone to test the 120 days with a task to simplify

    We just add

    Code:
    slmgr /rearm
    net stop sppsvc
    net start sppsvc

as to avoid unnecessary restart ;)

I have said it many times before but I say it again, Windows 7 is the most easiest system to cheat to date and thanks to you who found this and made this possible we're all here discussing it today.

Yea but actually BOX found it then madsheep! discovered it through PAYMYRENT's messing madsheep!'s machine up then MasterDisaster posted simple reg cmds. Then mcclausky did the GUIDE (manual rearming) then eventually I wanted this to get made into a easy to use GUI and finallly MasterDisaster helped me develop and finish it.

At least subkeys getting deleted in RE!

Deleting subkeys in Windows would be a different program indeed because well think of what you wouldn't need any more and how it could really infinitely be run by one task forever ;)

IR4 3.2 "The next evolution of rearming"...lol

Most def agreed on the cheating part even thou I'm not complaining...
As far as I know there are 4 ways to cheat the system...

    1. MAK/KMS/Legit key
    2. IR4
    3. SLIC BIOS
    4. Get rid of activation but keep the updates at the same time...

Well at least theres one good thing I won't be buying any more windows 7 copies for a while lol...

Feels like we're all part of a great piece of history being written here today.
When we're old things like this is what we will look back on haha.

thanks, I will try this out. I need a way to keep my servers activated without tripping the token expiration. This will just let me keep those machines in eval forever thanks!!
