It's not possible as the hole in win 7 doesn't exist in vista or we'd already supported vista although vista does suck in comparison to win 7 :p

Daz is your solution for vista

They prob won't mess with task, elimination of nags or the ability to rearm

    and here's the checksum's

    Code:
    File: IR4 3.1.exe
    CRC-32: 04060707
       MD4: 7ab3e95bace16a89e8ec360569a8d3fb
       MD5: 22f9d0b585ab47ee8f8898500c745de8
     SHA-1: dfdfe3b1a765e308b7e695eb489ba86464dfd8ee
Not sure IR4 is much of a threat to MS. We don't brick boot or alter any files for their users. We just allow continued testing without having to reinstall programs at end of full grace period when one would normally reinstall to get another 120 days. That is it. Also IR4 is the first to rearm windows inside windows so that is another thing we give with users not needing to reboot anymore to rearm ;)

Hi to all...the rearm task didn't run correctly 3 days ago so now I have the black desktop of windows 7 x64.
Phisically on the disk I have first the winXp partition and for second the win7 partition.
When I installed IR4 then after reboot all are same as before, non language screen appear. But I see in the winXp partition a file "IR4.bat". When I booted my pc with win7 dvd to use "Repair your computer" I saw tha the c: was the xp partition so I understood why IR4 not worked yet.
There is a way to use IR4 (that is really confortable) in my situation?

    Thanks a lot

My desktop was already black (it become black during my work travel during last week and my parents use the pc) and I haven't another rearm period, I finished the last. So if I use the IR4 rearm task from menĂ¹, whitout install IR4 a message say me that all it's ok but in fact no rearm is done. If I use the install task of IR4 I have the situation descrived in the previus post (partition letter problem)

Now I fixed all so it's ok but I try to exoplain:
the scheduled task don't run at the end of the month so my win7 become non genuine after expired time.
When I installa IR4 it reload the pc and write a file in c: disk; but on my pc che first phisical partition is winXp partition and win7 partition is the second (but when i run win7 it show me its partitions as c: and in the same way winXp show its partition as c:).
So the ir4.bat file is located in winXp partition and it can't modofy win7.

    It's clear?
