    one important question: should I de-authorize actual Windows in iTunes? Because iTunes might detect Ultimate edition as another machine.

    You can’t do a typical upgrade using an installation disc that’s different from the language installed on your computer. Go online to see how to install Windows 7 and keep your files and settings.

    Flop.

    So I've used Daz loader. Weird thing: i'd had a Samsung logo, now i've chosen the Dell serial, loader and other things, and still is samsung logo..

    Maybe a stupid question again, but I was reading a bit on other pages and other tweaks - does it matter with ir4 or halo7600 that I am using german version of windows 7 enterprise. I saw some commands refering to en-us only. (Deathwat)

    IR4 has been tested on enterprise and languages. Remember it's a way different solution than HAL or anything else so only have one solution installed at a time and make sure you always uninstall previous solution before trying new one

    I only support IR4 in this thread

    I have a question..suppose I use this will it pass genuine validation or will show the dialogue to activate windows?

    No, IR4 leaves your Windows 7 in a permnanet trial state, so no activation needed nor genuine validation.

    We eliminate nags to activate and it will also always pass as genuine with validation

    Errors

    Please help, I'm about to lose access to my PC!

    It seems I can't reset the re-arm count for some reason...

    This solution (IR4 3,1) has been working for me for months, now all of a sudden I get pop-up nag screens, and it's warning me I have 60 minutes to re-arm, and no re-arms left. The "next run" date is 30 days away (as if it has just run a re-arm).

    I have uninstalled, and then when I try to run the C:\IR4 bat file, I get a list of error messages on-screen. (Mostly file cannot be accessed because it's in use) - this happens in safe mode and normal boot (if running as Admin).

    Did you let it reboot into Recovery Environment? What errors? No one gotten an error at install so-far

    Need a little help

    Been working fine. I have 3 days left and I can't reset. Don't know why. Worked great last 2 times. I have been reactivating manually the last 2 times. Tried reinstalling still won't rearm. When I check status it says: Lic status: Initial Grace Remaining time 3600 minutes 2 days Remaining windows rearm count: 0 Task name: rearm Next run time: 3/13/2011 Status: ready. Thanks.

    Did you try other hacks at same time? If you reinstall it should reset rearms to 4

    Are you running any boot or drive management software?

    Didnt try any other hacks. Reinstalled 3 times no luck. I am running Neosmart Easy bcd on a dual boot system.

    When did you install bcd? That may affect installation. See if you can remember? I'm guessing that's it if it worked before.
