is it possible to add SLIC to a computer without it?

    still nothing, i burned both the dscd.iso and the DellBIOSReset, and in both of them, svctag hang up after i confirm EEPROM erase....

    only thing to do is hard reset

    i did managed to set asset though, but i don't know what to put there exacly and what to do next

    well, since the asset codes posted here are useless for my model (won't do anything) i still can't figure out what to do.

    someone here said that he found something called
    Dell Service EEPROM disc 4.5

    i there is such thing, this might help, but i tried to find it, and couldn't.

    any ideas?
