Is it possible to fresh-install win10 with SystemDrive=D:

    Ask a friend (one that knows what one is doing) to do it for you.
    Seems that you will not be able to do so on your own...

    thanks a bunch, that worked !

    I had to type the full path to install.wim, though (or dism would fail with obscure messages in its log)
    This happened both with the 32bit and 64bit versions of win10 dism (the install media being a USB key)
    If one needs the dism and bcdboot win10 binaries, "GetWAIKtools" is a much smaller download than ADK (10MB vs 4GB)
