Is it safe to disable event collector and event log?

    As the tile says is it safe to disable both?

    Don't know it would be safe! Just why you would do taht? In reality it could gives a lot information about anything going on in your system, special regarding security etc., etc.! It's really not recommended to turn of the Event system!!

    if you dont need error/warning/information logs which most of them are useless, you can disable it. windows' functions won't be affected.

    I don't want windows keeping writing constantly day and night to my ssd destroying it what for? Already disabled both ;) thanks cengizhan
