I'm not acting like no baby, I'm telling the truth. Just accept it, you could've mentioned it rather than keeping it all to yourself. Rather selfish if you ask me, just like a baby.
This is the same build you all have as far as I can tell. MS says it is the same, the files I checked last night with another member here say it is the same. This whole deal was about the web based install. I have nothing you don't have, I just got it in a different manner. Those of us with the invites were given a link to download a file that began the process, during the process we were given a choice of a live install on the drive we were currently on, or to make a bootable USB to use it to install to another drive. I did both during the night. Again, EVERYTHING I am aware of this moment tells me this is the same WDP. Some of the people were saying they had troubles with the d/l, but had the earlier version, they were told to install that as it was the same. Where MS is going with this type of install is beyond me right now, it is still very early in the plan. ETA - I will be the 1st to admit I am not the smartest computer dude in the world, so anything I say that proves wrong is because of stupidy, not intent.
MS may use this method for future Windows installation to prevent unauthorized usage, again this is still too early to tell. You are not stupid, MS only invited some of the smartest, trusted people to do their testing.
I think the BA guy uploaded WindowsDeveloperPreviewOnlineSetup.exe to BA FTP, could somebody upload it to a public file host so we could get it as a "collector item"?
