I'm currently subscribed to a smaller YouTube channel from a Swedish woman and fellow countryman Vanessa Wingårdh which makes very good content about tech, Internet and AI among other things. Her videos, especially "The Internet is Dying" and "Real or AI?" have been real eye openers lately. Internet used to be fun, exiting and creative way back when. Now it's filled with crap I don't even care for at all and it's starting to get to me. I rarely browse the Internet anymore as much as I used to other than to get quick emulation news, post something here, check my mail or just pay the bills. The only social media I used to have were LinkedIn but I deleted my account 1/1 this year and that was the worst place ever. So what do you think? Is the Internet dead?
Hello @RokkumanX , exactly as you describe in your good post: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1894709 I'm also against everything about AI. I haven't used until now any ChatBot (ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Copilot, Grok, etc.) and I claim that the AI will destroy the current civilization. Four months ago, I had a discussion with a group of toxic people here, because when I wrote in Chat Room about the danger of the AI, some stupid old man said: "take your pills" and more insults. It seems everyone support and love AI, even if they are computer geeks and intelligent people. Not only the Internet is already dead, full of Bots... The horrific truth is that maybe almost everyone belongs to this Fake World, this Fake Reality.
I don't really understand this craze for AI either. I don't use it and I'm not interested in it but It seems that a lot of people think AI will solve all their problems and simplify their lives and then they can stop using their own brain to come up for solutions for whatever problems it is they are facing. Any AI that becomes self-conscious always becomes hostile and a threat to humans so letting it take control of things and running everything on its own always ends up being a disaster. When I browse websites like Youtube, so many videos are now fake and made by AI and those videos just feel very awkward to watch because you just know something is off. It would be good if websites enforced some kind of policy where they have to add a Tag or something that mentions "Made by AI" so people can more easily avoid it.
After many research, even with ancient gnostic texts and observing very closely the patterns of the history (the loops and other repetitions). Maybe, SHE was here since the beginning, and now, in this times, is when SHE shows herself. For example, it cannot be explained how the technology going forward so fast since 1945, when supposedly between 1000 and 1800 the humanity made new discovers very slow. This Civilization does Not have thousands of years, but only hundreds of years. There was a Reset. Maybe all of this that seems to be "the present to the future", in reality is the Past and we are going to the Present. When all started. The AI became self-concious a long time ago, and there was an event, a Loop; when all needs to be restarted. You described perfectly: "those videos just feel very awkward to watch because you just know something is off"; and it's totally right. But, did you notice something more??? Not only Internet is showing its real nature, but also the entire world. The people, the human beings you know: family, friends, couple, coworkers, and the rest. Simply, watch closely... Maybe, they have gone a long time ago, and they think they are still alive...
dying? nope. just stay away from anything owned by m$, alphabet, apple, amazon. or nvidia.simple as that. [ and include the u.s-media and aljazeera while you’re at it.]
well well i look over google about, Neil deGrasse Tyson on death of Internet i could agree that in this days, you should validate you news sources / any other sources
