I have to constantly reformat my laptop due to emmc memory slow down over time. Once it's clean and formated the laptop is snappy but when it gets used more and more it's slows to a clawl . Like several seconds just to open a program , freezes etc. Is there any way to optimize this ?
Buy computer with real ssd or hard drive Emmc are bad idea and slow For low bugdet buy an thinkpad lenovo old , add new ssd and enjoy fast performance Search for model L460 or L570 or L520
My wife happens to use an old transformer book asus T100TA and it runs on a EMMC card (same as SD class 10, 30MB/s write/100MB/s read), still on x86 1909. It can be optimized the same way as a normal ssd, it's trimming it as we speak.
