Is there anything great about Windows 10?

The only good things I can think about Win 10 are:

1 - It's free for a year
2. DX12

The rest can go to hell

In other case (if your knowledge level was like intermediate), I would have recommended you to send your feedback in Feedback app, not on MDL forum, but you doesn't seem like a person who will deal with preview os. You tell that VMware does the same that virtual desktops (what a c**p am i reading?!). As a troll you are a not fun, so you just throw all of your ignorance on us all at once. No, Modern UI Apps have been there sinde Windows 8 Developers Preview and has nothing to do with Windows Phone. No, virtual desktops has nothing to do with OS virtualization. Do your homework and don't bother others with your opinion about the things you know nothing about.

 

win7 is too clunky for me after using 8.x -> and not referring to the UI. I just get around faster in 8x->

But which one is appropriate? The discussion ones are pretty short-lived and dying as soon as a new build comes out, while the point of this thread is about Windows 10 in general. Maybe the thread could evolve into something like "Windows 10 Pro and Cons"...

Yes, but not Ultra New things. They'll polish the UI more, Improve the Start Menu, Add/Update rest of the icons & buttons etc.
Remember, the Windows 8 time ? Then they'd changed the look & added other small features later on, in Developer Preview & RTM.

We'll have a better picture of RTM at BUILD, no new stuff at BUILD means, no new stuff in RTM ; only stability & performance improvements.

Anyone having issues with the taskbar/start menu color not changing? I have set to auto and then to other colors, the tiles change colors on the start menu and the bar below the icons on the taskbar change but the bar and start menu itself does not change.

Edit: I found it. Was in the new settings -> personalization -> color, I had to turn those features on.

 

pinheads

the pinheads at MS are making each build progrrssively worse especially visually and supporting newest hardware
