It's a passion, just like when you have a M6 car, you still want to collect M5, M3, M1 cars... LOL

I'm not being funny but, where the .... are the download links?

    1. The Pirate Bay, Install.wim, 0 Seeders. The seeder seems to appear every couple of hours then dissapears leaving us all stuck! I am stuck at 25.2% can someone see(edit: o typo d) the WIM?

    2. Beta Archive, the FTP is currently offline. The FTP details were leaked due to stupid immature members who couldn't be bothered to mirror it.

Now, nobody can download it unless someone seeds the install.wim or makes a new torrent/reupload the ISO elsewhere. Why are they so selfish at BA? It's obviously going to leak, I don't see what they get from keeping it exclusively for their members until someone decides to leak it. Come on, someone mirror before I loose my interest.

We at BA don't have a problem with people leaking the build. We have a problem with people leaking our accounts. Big difference. We shut down the FTP because some people think they have the right to do whatever they want and disrupt other communities and services as they please, all for their own greedy benefit. This is the very thing that will destroy the internet as it is since some thing they have the right to do whatever they want. What you do with a build once it's downloaded from BA isn't of our concern, but BA's resources are for BA members, just as the resources of this forum and community is for its members (why else the need to register etc?). And we at BA pay a fair bit of money to keep it running, something we freely do for our members. But others want to abuse it so they can feel good about themselves and think they are something in this world. But their only result is to disrupt the community for the rest of us. And BA is not alone, practically every online community on this planet requires some sort of registering, and they often have special services for members that aren't available for any anonymous user. So stop being naive and selfish by thinking that BA is selfish because we want to give a good service for the people that take their time to build up the community BA is.

Anyways, steps are being taken as we speak to secure up the files our members has worked hard to gather, expect us to be fully back online soon.

And remember, because you disagree with an another community's policy or way of doing things doesn't mean you have the right to break in and steal things. We don't care about the builds etc, they were given to us for free and we give them out for free. But members give them to us, and we offer them to other members. No one says we have to give everyone outside access to it. Especially when it costs us money to do so. Ff bandwidth and storage were 100% free then perhaps we would also have a more open system, but it's not. We designed our stuff for our members, and we expect our members to respect the hard work behind it. Which clearly some don't. Don't worry tho, these people will be cast out eventually.

Anyways people, enjoy the betas you get, don't be greedy or selfish and respect each other, people or communities. And respect the rules, regardless if it's this forums or others.

BA is not the only ftp that has that iso. There is another place with an ftp for v.i.p members that also has the iso available for download

Windows 8′s new Ribbon Explorer Interface

Going forward, all Windows Explorer windows will carry a Ribbon bar with the most popular file handling commands placed in the tabs we have gotten used to in Microsoft Office. Microsoft quite obviously states that drop down menus do not work well in touch environments, yet there are still quite a few commands in the Ribbon bar that relies on drop-downs. What gives Microsoft? But if we are not going to use Windows 8 on a touch device, we can hide the Ribbon bar. Windows’s file explorer view has not changed much in the last decade – sure, the File, Edit, View menu has been done away with in Windows 7, but the user is still overly reliant on the right click mouse command. But with all the focus on touch based interfaces, the right click command needs to start taking a backseat in future Windows releases. Microsoft is focusing a lot on making Windows 8 a lot more touch friendly, and it is not all about their Metro based interface.
Now might be thinking that the Ribbon bar does not give a lot of added features to power users who anyway use keyboard commands to get work done – and that might be true. But one feature especially like is that we can of course add own favorites commands to the title bar, including a new “run as administrator in command prompt” button. So then it is as easy as clicking a file, then clicking your newly created button. Then watch the actual process in the command prompt box. Microsoft also shows off a few new ways in which traditionally difficult tasks are made a lot easier on Windows 8. One example I really like is the Share Tab which makes it very easy to quickly create Zip archives to send away, but most significantly, has a much better interface to quickly share files on Home group or Domain.
The Search tools are also a bit smarter – users are not forced to use text searches, and can quickly do context based searches like “Documents created in the last week” using simple buttons, and recent searches can be easily found. With the Windows 8 OS, the Redmond, Washington based software behemoth is also likely to abandon its conventional desktop-interface approach. Instead the new user-interface is likely to be more inclined towards the Windows Phone approach.
