Agreed but I must also add rounded corners and does any one even have a monitor that is not square . Plus there themes just suck ass
As I already said this is more or less the opposite of the truth. Linux has his share of problems (like everything else), but you mentioned none of them, you're just parroting stereotypes that may be valid 25 years ago Basically ou're just saying that the problem is too much choices. Like some poor Americans that rather than understanding one hundred of choices in a good Italian restaurant prefer just to order a disgusting and unhealthy mac menu. Is that a problem of the restaurant or this is a problem of the client?
It runs very smooth on my old (not supported) system afterall...Thx for that Lots of the same.... on it...but hey it's all good cuse it looks sexy
Linux is fine, easier than Windows in my view, thats if you choose the right distro. Linux offers a nice choice of desktop environments and enough software choice to satisfy 90% of the population. The main issue is compatibility with hardware, I have a Gigabyte board that has always had a problem running Linux, a lot worse with the latest version of Mint [and others] for that reason Im back with Windows. I also have an old [pre UEFI] BrixBox again by Gigabyte that runs Linux perfectly, in the very simple BIOS there is a setting to choose the OS [Windows/other] you wish to run and away you go. Its not Linux thats the problem, its the lack of support from the hardware manufacturers, they blow hot and cold, its just hard luck if you have the wrong kit, this may explain the poor market share as much as anything else. Just checked out the board in my main PC on the Gigabyte web site, its on its 20th BIOS update, probably not the best choice I have ever made
Linux might get more love since steam has proton and their steam deck running their own arch based steam os on it. A smart move to get more developers aboard and develop some native games for it.
there is a difference between using an OS and complaining about some stuff, using an OS and not being a fan of it, and disliking an OS completely, i use mainly windows and in comparison to other operating systems of course it's my favorite, that doesn't mean i can't complain when there is something wrong, for linux i use it sometimes just for knowledge and fun, mainly ubuntu and linux mint, i can't say i diskile it becuz that's not true but whatever, and i never used macOS, i know how it looks from watching some youtube videos, but personally i don't like anything apple.
... back to topic (namely Windows 11) please. The fight about OS cannot be won. What did Joshua say in that movie? A strange game - the only winning move is not to play.
