    I don't know if the bug applies for everybody, nor if that's the cause, though I think it is. It has happened to both my systems.

    Specs (old PC so... yeah):
    AMD Phoenom X2 1100T @ 3.3GHz (If I remember correctly.)
    Radeon HD 6970 x2
    Some 60GB SSD @ 260MB/s
    Some 2TB HDD @ 110MB/s
    Some Gigabyte? motherboard

    :confused:... what I have noticed, however, is that if your primary account is set to auto log on you don't have the option of a secondary log on option o_O

    I think you can solve that in gpedit.msc if I am not 100% wrong...

    I am using Windows 8.1 Preview since the day it was released to public and its working great here. No problem except Internet connection was not created by Tata Photon+ device. Its better than Windows 8 for me.

    It is probably at least as stable as Windows 8, which is locking up hard on me about once a week.

    Depends what you do, If you just watch YouTube videos and surfing the web then, Yes i would say is stable for that. but there is two things you can do;

    1) Run it in VirtualBox (Dont make the Hard Drive less then 25GB or you get an error and if you like it put it on a real PC/Laptop
    2) Partition the hard drive say 40GB as is 12GB install for x64 systems and then drivers (video, sound etc) i have about 25GB spare.

    but for me when the Beta is over, I'm not paying the £99 pounds just for an OS as Linux is free and open source but give it time, Someone will make a look-a-like "Metro Start Screen"

    But run very well in VMware.

    In VMware Windows 8.1 64 bit can be installed in 10 GB partition.

    Windows 8.1 64 bit installed in VMware on 10 GB partition has 2 GB of free space - when you disable hibernation and pagefile.
