Jin can you add a loader to your program? Something that also allows the user (IE me) to install a loader (outside of install.wim, or even inside????) and still install the key and cert? Would be nice if you could do that
If you keep this loader free it can be argued that the tool has legitimate uses (recreation of lost OEM disks for end users). Besides trying to keep up with WGA just creates more of a headache for something that is supposed to be a utility. Keep the loaders and utilities separate.
Did test the tool.... Added drivers for a WinPE3 wim CHECK Added drivers+cert+key for an Ultimate wim CHECK Afterwards tested the wim by applying it to a VHD and mounting it using bcdedit and booting into it having it go through the specialisation. Image worked perfectly confirmed it took the driver added as well as the cert + key. Nerds have more fun! Not that DISM itself is all that bad but really nice and handy tool you´ve created. And the driver add button takes it the next step.... Keep it up!
Please add intigrate servicepacks and hotfixes dism /Image:C:\WIM /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\UPDATES /Providers
Yes that would be a nice addition, just select the folder where all the .msu files are in and then let them be integrated.
Any idea when this will be posted? I would love to have this. Also will this be able to integrate language files as well?
Be sure and run More Info and use the Features.txt and Packages.txt to get the proper naming/syntax for the Remove Packages and Disable Features buttons Don't forget you need to run the MSFN Install_Wim_Tweak on your image if you want able to remove more packages. See first post for detail
wow, i thought i was getting lazy... only a few lines folks... a few appz like these and we all forget what we're doing here EDIT: however, nice app.. thank you
What about language integration? You can add the languages, but you do not have a button to update the lang.ini. Also would be nice to have something for language updating for the boot.wim as well. Maybe add that to the other tab you have on the top???
