    Hi Everyone,

I just installed the new server using window server 2008 R2 . Also installed AD, DNS and created user for specific account . I also created folder , share and provide permission to the specific user.

When i joined domain using these users from XP , or Window 7 , i can access the folder which have been provided permission to access it. But when i joined domain from MAC OS X , i unable to see the share folder which provided permission from window server 2008 to access it .

Can help me how to access share folder from server when i log in from MAC OS X ?

I looking forward to hear from you .

    Thanks,

I have a Windows 2008 R2 domain and I have join my Mac Mini without problem and access the same share I use from Windows 7.
I'm not a expert in MacOS and I didn't perform any special configuration or setting
    What I did is:
from Finder's Go menu, choose "Connect to Server." Enter the IP address or name of your server hosting the share, preceded by smb://
Enter user and pass if required and register it.

Install bonjour for windows. Server windows doesn't use normal advertising.
