Thanks for the quick reply Tito. I've been using this for a few weeks now with no problems. I decided today to put it onto a 2nd desktop and a laptop here at home and on both, i get the error message below: I tried some Google-Fu over the last couple of hours or so and it seems to be a common issue with this perticular Kaspersky method of install?
Code: KEY STATUS:BLOCKED LICENSE PROBLEM DETECTED YOU HAVE EXCEEDED THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF COMPUTERS ON WHICH KASPERSKY ANTI-VIRUS CAN BE INSTALLED UNDER YOUR LICENSE.PROTECTION IS DISABLED.TO RESUME PROTECTION OF YOUR COMPUTER ENTER A NEW ACTIVATION CODE I activation faild
Anyone found a solution to the "1 computer" limitation? If it's of any help. A test PC i use will install with 365 days remaining once the HDD has been formatted. Same network as all other rigs. A challenge if any of you guys are up for it
It works on more than one PC with same network as of now. Its been tried and fine on a 2 laptops (one dell, one hp pavilion) and one Home built desktop with Asus motherboard Save yourself the hustle of formatting the HDD. Just uninstall the application delete all Kaspersky folders including the folder C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP13 (make all hidden folders visible in view at folders under the control panel) Clean any trace of Kaspersky in the Registry by using Regedit (run regedit in the search) under software in the registry tree then reboot and that's it.
The reason no one wanted it ran on more than one computer on the same network is cause kaspersky would see multiple activations from the same IP. Which they could have more then one computer with the ROG mb but unlikely.
