Had a machine that was working fine, but alas, it had the 32-bit version, and that just did not provide access to enough RAM, so...

Installed the 64-bit verios (SP1 integrated), and I found something that really annoys me. I have the taskbar set to auto hide, but it won't come up if the task manager window goes to the bottom of the screen (the task manager always appeared on the old machine when I moved the mouse to the bottom of the screen). The strange thing is that if I check (in the task manager) Options / Always On Top, and then uncheck it, then the taskbar will appear when the mouse it as the bottom of the screen as I want it to (but it only does as long as the task manager stays visible - if I click on the task manager button in the task bar to hide it, and then click again to restore it, then the task bar will no longer come up).

I (vaguely) recall that there was an option to keet the taskbar "on top," but I can't seem to find it now.

Is there some way of always keeping the taskbar on top of the task manager?

    Thank you in advance.
