Please can anyone confirm this: If I have office 2013 kms activated using Microsoft Toolkit, then I update my genuine windows 8 to 8.1 from free store update will my office activation be lost? will it work atleast till the grace period? Thanks in advance
seems like you are doomed with current KMS activation as office15 is bundled to 8.1 KMS V6 protocol. You gonna loose activation but I'm not sure about grace ... Some say it is only few days but you better refer to office guys
Successfully activated Office 2013! I'm just not sure what you mean about "sync the time"? Should I had done it before activating Office or am I just fine since it's already activated now?
Means to make sure your system time is correct and the right region/timezone is selected. Note: Your time and your timezone, not the KMS server's!

KMS activation for office 2013 under windows 8.1 using Code: /sethst:o2013v6.no-ip.biz was successful. To be clear, I can explain this again maybe in step by step directions that might be easier to follow. It seems some may be non native speakers of english. Use the instructions here on this website: cuit.columbia.edu/microsoft-office/microsoft-office-activation-2013 In the instructions on that site, replace: Code: /sethst:kms.cc.columbia.edu with: Code: /sethst:o2013v6.no-ip.biz See picture attached below in this post. Follow the commands I entered on command prompt in the picture. Make sure command prompt (cmd.exe) is run as administrator before starting.
Try installing Windows8-RT-KB2885698-x64 but getting an error "Windows Update Standalone Installer" The update is not applicable to your computer. I have a Windows 8.1 activated over the phone.
