(about the Auto_KMS_ALL $oem$ folder and the SCHTASKS /Create ONLOGON and DAILY tasks on a slow laptop: Well, I must admin I didn't know anything about those scheduled tasks, and I always believed running Auto_KMS_ALL as an "ONLOGON" tasks would slow down bootup. So I never even tested it, and removed the task creation right from the start. A few minutes ago, I decided to test how much time exactly was added to bootup by this ONLOGON task. Hmm, I was pleasantly surprised to find the result: 0 seconds Well, of course the script does take its time to run, but the desktop is ready just a quickly as before (and reactivation is done in the background). To be honest, I never thought about that. So I'll just leave the tasks in (just the way the TPB master Murphy78 created it), and will now kick myself for not testing that before. Thank you again... As a sidenote: now that 8.1 activation is going so smoothly, I guess there's no point at all anymore to keep "8.0" around anymore, is there? Didn't I read somewhere that 8.0 will be supported for 2 years max after 8.1 is introduced?
I only mean your question was somewhat ambiguous. You can upgrade if you have 8 already, or you can do a clean install no matter what you have. Many people have reported trouble with upgrade but I upgraded without a single hitch. If you're the cautious and/or paranoid type, clean install. If you don't mind the slight risk, upgrade (the payoff was worth it for me).
Win 8.1 Pro VL (licensed) Trying to activate Office 2013 Pro Plus VL (was activated before on Win 8) Activation status is GRACE PERIOD 4 days I hope this helps. Maybe I have to chance the Office 2013 KEY? Because of Win 8 previously!? If so, how?
Changed the key, but still the same outcome: ERROR DESCRIPTION: The Software Licensing Service reported that the application is running within the valid grace period. REMAINING GRACE: 4 days All I have to do is download your tool and start activation.bat as admin, right? I don't need anything else?
