jean phile made a service out of tunmirror, but I wouldn't recommend it. I actually recommend running tunmirror as high priority. There's a problem with activation failing when system is doing a lot of things, such as booting or windows setup. I played with jean phile's service, but I don't know enough about such things to change it to run as high priority so I just avoid it.
Yes, but put quotes around the reg add part in setupcomplete.cmd since there's a space in the Windows Defender part. An oversight.
I'm sure CodyQX4 is working on some of that stuff right now as well, maybe we can learn something from him along the way, so in the end, this: Code: +---------------+ +--------------+ +--------+ |install adapter| wait&hope |install mirror| wait&hope |activate| +---------------+ +--------------+ +--------+ can turn into this: Code: +---------------+ +--------------+ +--------+ |install adapter| test&check |install mirror| test&check |activate| +---------------+ +--------------+ +--------+ Well, you know what I mean, just wanted to use that lovely Kelorgo Ascii art We wouldn't want that.
Wow thanks! I think I'll just scrap my pathetic effort then! A brief (plain English) explanation of all that does plz mate?
@xinso - Thank you for those great posts. Appreciated. I had misunderstood the usage of KMSServerService so have now scrapped this idea. But once again, thank you for those great posts, which will also help others I'm sure. That's easy for you to say!
C'mon throbber, don't push your luck. Why don't you start reading up on some older posts here? That might take even less time than posting and waiting for an answer. OK, I'll bite: *Yes*, it works on that dvd.
lol atari800xl whats up.contrary to your last two comments i do searh and read up.but im not spending 2 years reading every post..and as a lot of people find out the search not allways works. thanks for the "yes" but if its the same as you first reply i will take it as a pinch of salt.
I'm plz'd xinso's great posts have helped others. I just wanted to experiment with it (KMSServerService) for friends/family activating against it from internet, really there is no need for me to run a the service. For my purposes it's far easier to just start the newest KMSServer.exe from CODQX4 with suitable paraameters. "KMS Server.exe" 1688 RandomKMSPID 120 10080 KillProcessOnPort So the Tap adapter stuff isn't relevant for that purpose. You like dabbling don't you!
Not necessary. It works. If you don't like the search, just click on Murphy78's username, read all his posts over the last week. Same with abbodi.
I'm myself from those people but the firewall has 3 profiles, and checking status for all or one of them will make things complicated and since my script is a 1-click 1-time solution, you can either remove the firewall lines, or just re-disable firewall afterwards
Maybe this has been posted before. I didn't find it although I've been reading this thread from the very beginning. I'm not a great poster either, even if I've been reading this forum for a few years. Nevertheless..I'll make a fool of me and ask... I made a $OEM$ folder under sources and then a $$ folder and a Setup folder and a Scripts folder and then this script: Code: @ECHO OFF pushd "%~dp0" start /wait KMSpico_setup.exe /verysilent regedit /s RunOnce.reg timeout /t 120 shutdown -r -t 0 popd exit The script is run as SetupComplete.cmd and should be automatically performed when installation is accomplished, as adviced. Furthermore clean.cmd, RunOnce.reg and, of course, KMSpico_setup.exe. Now, it's weird, this script is not performed after complete installation and reboot , I have to run it manually and then win is activated perfectly. What do I miss?
See message #2127, don't put it in the sources folder, put it *inside* the wim. This is done with DISM, and explained all over this forum. Are you Throbber's brother? Just kidding, let us know how you're doing, and ask again.
Thx, I was confused by post 2135 and no, I am not relative of Throbber , I just read what Nucleus wrote
