Do a sfc /scannow with admin rights. But fresh install from a clean media is recommended.

Yea I just reinstalled and it works now using KMS VL ALL method, Not sure if this is the best method. Do you know which KMS method is best without having to manually re activate?

I used the KMS VL All method to activate the Windows 8.1 Pro. And then I installed MS Office 2013 after that. And it seems to work fine without asking to activate or asking for a key. So I don't know.

    @xinso

    It should be:

    Code:
:For Office 2013 x86 installed on Windows x64
    cscript "%programfiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office15\ospp.vbs" /sethst:10.11.12.13
    cscript "%programfiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office15\ospp.vbs" /setprt:1688
    cscript "%programfiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office15\ospp.vbs" /act

:For Office 2013 x86 installed on Windows x86 or Office 2013 x64 installed on Windows x64
    cscript "%programfiles%\Microsoft Office\Office15\ospp.vbs" /sethst:10.11.12.13
    cscript "%programfiles%\Microsoft Office\Office15\ospp.vbs" /setprt:1688
    cscript "%programfiles%\Microsoft Office\Office15\ospp.vbs" /act

    :)

Ok yea it sees the Office now and just activated it. Weird that it couldn't detect it earlier to activate.

    1. I am going to use Abbodi1406's KMS_VL_ALL for Windows 8.1 Pro VL and also for Microsoft Office 2013 Pro Plus VL. I believe I have to run KMS_VL_ALL.cmd two times (once after I install Windows 8.1 Pro VL, and then a second time after I install Office 2013 Pro Plus VL). Is that correct?

    2. My other question is after doing the above both Office 2013 and Windows 8.1 should be activated for 180 days if I understand KMS correctly. Can anybody tell me what I need to do in order to have KMS automatically re-activated so I don't have to keep running KMS_VL_ALL.cmd every 180 days?

Within Abbodi1406's KMS_VL_ALL I saw a script called Create-Silent-Task.cmd - Do I just need to run that with Admin privileges in order to have Windows 8.1 Pro VL and Office 2013 Pro Plus VL automatically get re-activated every 180 days? I just want to be able to have both Win 8.1 and Office 2013 activate automatically so I don't need to run any more scripts manually every 180 days. Can this be done with Abbodi1406's KMS_VL_ALL, and if so, what do I need to do?

Lastly, do I have to keep any of the script files on my computer and/or in a certain location for the automatic re-activation to work correctly?
Thanks to anyone who can help me out with this

    1. yes.

    2. you answered your question
yes you just need to use "Create-Silent-Task" or "Create-Verbose-Task" to create weekly re-activation task.

after you create the task, you don't need to keep anything
the task uses single .exe file copied to C:\Windows directory (AKS.exe for silent, AKV.exe for verbose),
don't forget to add them to exclusion list in your security program

    :)

    Mister X,

Thank you very much for the link to that thread. Okay, but which tool does one use to then activate Windows 8.1 Pro WMC since it is a retail ISO?
