LOL! Not to the quality of abbodi's scripts it isn't - believe me! His scripts are highly polished and clever. Seems to me he always goes the extra mile to get everything right. I'm a non-coder, I could have possibly muddled my way through by editing here and there but much prefer something done properly.
Dear Mr.X, Thanks a lot for your nifty tool! Could you please confirm that it is necessary to install the 'KMS Host Service', before creating a 'Scheduled Task' that automatically reactivates? Or is this not necessary? Thanks in advance.
No, is not necessary. BTW at the time you decide to create a scheduled task, select the option to create such task in the ProgramData\KMSAutoS folder, that's it. Just to remind you, it's not my nifty tool, is Ratiborus' nifty tool. I just translate Russian interface to English and Spanish. Anyway you're very welcome.
Okay i see, i see... thanks for the reply though Is there anyway i can 'see' my scheduled activation task is working after i have already activated the Windows installation? (Just for testing purposes i would like to see that the scheduled task will make sure that Windows keeps getting activated).
I know how to find the windows task. I just would like to check, that if the task runs (perhaps by manual execution, just for testing purposes) if there is way to check and see if the automatic activation by use of this task was actually successful. Is this possible?
Change your system time (+180 days) and restart. After reboot wait some minutes and check your activation state.
I can't really understand the reasoning behind having SECOInjectorV23 and WinDivert together just to add support for activating Office 2010. I mean, in that case, you might just as well use WinDivert to achieve both goals. The amount of KMS tools and versions and so on is almost at the point of being overwhelming.
Thanks for the tool. However, when I try to run it on my Windows 7 Enterprise x64 install I get this in the log script: Code: 2013.12.20 KMS GUI ELDI 31.0.0.0 00:13:59:836 Time Start: 20/12/2013 00:13:59 00:13:59:843 Checking Internet Connection... 00:13:59:911 Internet Connection Detected 00:13:59:914 Synchronizing Time... 00:13:59:846 Time synchronized 00:14:00:244 Windows Detected: Windows 7 Enterprise : Enterprise : 6.1 : 7601 00:14:00:393 Opening Firewall Port... 00:14:00:504 Opening Firewall App... 00:14:00:598 KMSEmulator started 00:14:00:626 KMSEmulator running on port 1688 00:14:00:626 Waiting for client connection... 00:14:00:747 Office 2010 Skipped 00:14:00:749 Office 2013 Found: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\ 00:14:01:195 Found Windows Products: 1 00:14:01:197 Name: Windows(R) 7, Enterprise edition Description: Windows Operating System - Windows(R) 7, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel GracePeriodRemaining: 40320 LicenseStatus: 2 PartialProductKey: HVTHH 00:14:01:758 DisableKeyManagementServiceHostCaching 0 00:14:01:761 Set Registry : SoftwareProtectionPlatform:KeyManagementServiceName 00:14:01:761 Set Registry : SoftwareProtectionPlatform:KeyManagementServicePort 00:14:01:837 Found Office 2013 Products: 1 00:14:01:838 Name: Office 15, OfficeProPlusVL_KMS_Client edition Description: Office 15, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel GracePeriodRemaining: 259200 LicenseStatus: 1 PartialProductKey: GVGXT 00:14:01:967 DisableKeyManagementServiceHostCaching 0 00:14:01:970 Set Registry : OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\0ff1ce15-a989-479d- af46-f275c6370663\4a5d124a-e620-44ba-b6ff-658961b33b9a:KeyManagementServiceName 00:14:01:970 Set Registry : OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\0ff1ce15-a989-479d- af46-f275c6370663\4a5d124a-e620-44ba-b6ff-658961b33b9a:KeyManagementServicePort 00:14:01:971 Set Registry : OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\0ff1ce15-a989-479d- af46-f275c6370663\b322da9c-a2e2-4058-9e4e-f59a6970bd69:KeyManagementServiceName 00:14:01:971 Set Registry : OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\0ff1ce15-a989-479d- af46-f275c6370663\b322da9c-a2e2-4058-9e4e-f59a6970bd69:KeyManagementServicePort 00:14:01:972 Set Registry : OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\0ff1ce15-a989-479d- af46-f275c6370663\e13ac10e-75d0-4aff-a0cd-764982cf541c:KeyManagementServiceName 00:14:01:972 Set Registry : OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\0ff1ce15-a989-479d- af46-f275c6370663\e13ac10e-75d0-4aff-a0cd-764982cf541c:KeyManagementServicePort 00:14:06:765 RefreshLicenseStatus 0 00:14:41:581 Closing Firewall Port... 00:14:41:676 Closing Firewall App... 00:14:41:828 Set Registry : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop:PaintDesktop Version 00:14:43:465 Time Finish: 20/12/2013 00:14:43 00:14:43:466 Total Time: 43 seconds Press any key to continue . . . True enough. With the new SECOInjector, abbodi1406's SECOInjector script, and a KMS Server [Service], that's all one really needs to activate both Office 2010/2013 and of course, the various Windows flavors. I have both Office versions installed in a side-by-side configuration (mainly because I prefer Outlook 2010 over 2013 but just decided to keep the full suite installed) on Win8.1 Pro and have had no issues with any of them. Just great stuff from these guys.
