New KMSPico will modife Retail to VL and activate if the Server is online... but not on 24/7 also many still have Firewall or AV activated, and Developer SAYS Disable first or set exception.... so far my location over 100 Activations at 100%, Pro & Enterprise.
This worked for me. I was misguided in a different update guide and installed the WMC key first, which caused all known methods to fail. (as some have pointed out, the thread title is misleading as well)... I managed to get it to work without reinstalling, by removing Pro WMC from 8.1 and converting it to plain Pro 8.1. I would post a link to a guide on how to do this, but alas, my post count is too low. There is a guide on eight forums, however, under the tutorials section, that tells you how to remove WMC from Windows 8 and go back to plain Pro. It works for 8.1 as well if you have 8.1 install media and use the VLK 8.1 Pro key.
Hi, did you got a solution for this? I was still not able to activate, with kmspico it gets stuck at 5% and them closed, this is a know issue, so I have placed the commands manually and I get the same issue as Ahmed on post 211, is there a solution for this?

uninstalling KMSpico will not deactivate your windows. It will be good for 180 days and them must be reactivated by design. Watermark issue is due to bios settings and has nothing to do with activated system.
