Well something is wrong your end because I used the exact same commands on the exact same 8.1 Enterprise about an hour ago and it was still working fine You changed your DNS to Googles? 8.8.8.8 ? I use 4.2.2.5 DNS Im in the UK too and didn't use the time sync app
Run slmgr /ckms to remove host & then again register server using slmgr /skms cckms.nccu.edu.tw..... Even after that if it still show 127.XXX.XXX.XXX address then you need to search that in registry & delete it... Register again to activate...
Hm, if it is set correctly, AV and defender is disabled I have no clue what it is about. Time normally synchronizes itself though
guess we need to wait for the time fixing crew on MDL did you look into the event manager? Perhaps its tells you something about it
Brilliant Searching the Registry for the 127 address and then deleting that key has solved the problem. My Win 8.1 is now activated... HOORAH I guess that this is as a result of the upgrade path from 8.0 Pro to 8.1 Ent. Many thanks for your suggestion
It says "No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted" That means either server is down or it cannot reach it Will have to keep trying I guess
It is possible that you have the same issue as me. Check the Windows Application Log and see whether, or not, activation requests are being logged to the same IP that you are specifying. If the logged IP is different, then search for it in the Registry and delete the KMS entry (if found). Then retry the activation... it worked for me
This is a fresh install.... Will try but this is a fresh install..... Can I set the server to a IP address instead of a hostname?
You are trying to activate it against local KMS emulator... Don't use 127.X.X.x address to activate 8.1... Use online host only
OK.... In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform\(possible hardware unique characters)\(possible hardware unique characters) There is a key called KeyManagementServiceName for me this (like many others) was set to a local 127.*.*.* address. I changed that IP to the one the host resolves to (can't say it) and I tried to activate again and it worked. Try this and see if it solves your issues.
Was having great difficulty with yesterday's version of KMSpico (v9.0.3.20131025), but just tried the latest update and it's worked fantastic!!! v9.0.3.20131026 - Fixed internet connection detecter. - Changed server host list. Thanks heldigard!!!
Guys , thanks for the efforts. Do I need to downgrade 8.1 PROWMC edition to pro , so I can activate ? Or there are another solutions?
