seems client side all the way? Changes how often a KMS client attempts to activate itself when it cannot find a KMS host. Changes how often a KMS client attempts to renew its activation by contacting a KMS host.
LOL, my bad, didn't notice the title "Configuring KMS Hosts". Nah, it's the remote control by host to client when connected, to change the values from client side you can edit registry.
Its for client side but you need to set these on host & host settings will always override client settings... Setting changed at client side are only effective till client is not activated...
You can edit the settings on client end in regedit: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionP1atform
Yes, you must do that every six months. No way out. I hope, that at some stage, there is one that can run in 127.0.0.1 or ::1 but not till keys are "found"
Actually you can refresh activation anytime you like, suppose you activated it 4 days ago, so to-day you only have 176 days, you can try to refresh activation against the old host or any newly posted host: - If it fails, nothing changed, still 176 days. - If successful, then it will reset to 180 days. As a matter of fact, if you haven't cleared the KMS host, and have not edited RenewalInterval, then the OS will auto connect to the KMS host to try a fresh activation every 7 days. btw: - I heard that for V6, it will return with an error if you set to 127.0.0.1; not tested it myself. - Some guys asked me is it true that it is required to activate every 24 hours, this is BS. I guess it's because for KMSpico(or other KMS tools), you can set it to refresh activation every 24 hours, and this caused the misunderstanding.
Windows 8.1 Pro MSDN x64 Italian KMSPico beta used 180 days activation, no watermark Thank you guys !!!
Just installed Win 8.1 Pro (x64) and the script worked beautifully! It is activated but my question is if I install Microsoft Office 2013, how do I activate that?
