All KMS activations are 180 days and just as the name states KMSmicro is a KMS server so the short answer is YES
Thanks, that is much clearer now. The problem with what you describe is that it does require the CSVLK, which we don't have. We don't know what the Windows 8.1 KMS Host key is that was used in the construction of the KMSmicro V5.0 VM. Hence I'm looking into ways to try and make do with just the tokens (without the key). Last year, I managed to find a solution when a KMS host VM was released for Server 2012, and we didn't know the key.
What are the disadvantages by running a VM server all the time? How much memory and CPU cycles does it need?
It wont impact too much at all but you really don't need to run it all the time (unless you plan to put it internet facing to activate others). Once every 180 days is all that's required unless you add a new PC on the network
iam going to try this one, i have allready kms servers that activate office on 8.1 on win 8 en win7 pro but not yet so small as this one
noair.strangled.net for activating office 2013 0n win 8.1 activate office 2010 and win 8 win7 open now,
KMSMicro works in VM, I am sure it will on physical machine as well and have one to test later , thanks for English Translation X. Run KMSMicro as admin install TAP change TAP name to tap1 run console set timezone clicked "activate windows" "Product activated successfully." well done -ed- installed office 2013 while KMSMicro was running. Code: LICENSE NAME: Office 15, OfficeProPlusVL_KMS_Client edition LICENSE DESCRIPTION: Office 15, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel Last 5 characters of installed product key: GVGXT <Product activation successful> and zero internet connection. perfect little gem, now to Nano size it to a few megabytes lol
Last 4 days i'm trying to activate but kms servers always offline or i'm doing something wrong: View attachment 24907 I need to use specific W8.1 Pro key or something like that for kms servers to work? Mainly in which time kms servers become online? Probably when i'm sleeping kms servers becoming online only
if qemu would start with command -rtc base=utc, clock=host there would be NO NEED to set time / timezone or to run NetTime! even a total wrong time / date on the host would work at once... EDIT: the complete commandline is: Code: qemu-system-x86_64.exe -vga cirrus -serial none -parallel none -display sdl -smbios type=1,manufacturer=Intel,version=1.01234,uuid=564d81c6-cd3a-d8e4-db29-756df139acb9 -uuid 564d81c6-cd3a-d8e4-db29-756df139acb9 -m 256 -hda Bios\KMSmicro.rom -name "KMSmicro Console TAP" -M pc -L Bios -net nic,macaddr=00:11:22:33:44:03,vlan=0 -net "tap,vlan=0,ifname=tap1" -rtc base=utc, clock=host -nodefconfig -no-user-config -no-hpet -no-fd-bootchk -no-quit tested working! still the vm timezone has to be set to utc - only ratiborus can do that in advance - sorry for my mistake
So to sum up everything. We have a local only KMS VM, no KMS VM that can be used to activate computers outside of your network. Or do we have it but im missing something...
How, I've been trying for hours. I followed the readme and I get an error. Error: 0xC004F074 The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted. Please see the Application Event Log for additional information. I am on hardware not vmware or anything.
