    Only works on VL editions.

    Didn't work for me on 8.1 core

    It's funny that no one here talks about safety...what prevents the host system owner to make an investigation about all the illegal clients? What about client limits?

    Is it possible to upgrade to Windows 8.1 from my current KMS activated Windows 8 somehow, to later activate it with this?
    Cause i rather not make a clean install.

    Hmm, tested and not working. Also, reading the MTK thread, I believe there isn't a reliable activation backup yet. Same with ATM. If anybody has more tips for backing up activation, please let me know and I'll test (... and test, and test).
    In the meantime, I guess a TrueImage backup of the whole system might be in order...

    MTK 2.4.9 tested, how is your win 8.1 activated? retail activates and gets restored 100% of the times I tested. Cant say same about kms, mak ans others lolzz

    Is it an issue to upgrade from Windows 8 Pro N?

    Nobody knows, but it's a server in Taiwan(current time 11:18 p.m.), they are probably off duty and sleeping......:p

    So, what happens when they find out about the clients? Can they find their location and deactivate / blacklist them or it's just the renewal that is in danger?
