This is not true, i just did it to my KMSpico I have set up for public use and the IP my Windows 8.1 is showing is my IP here in Egypt. Where do you live...
I already did and the reply is that it cannot find a KMS server machine. If you want, I'll send you the ip and you can traceroute it or look up the geolocation
Hello, I'm still using a Windows Server 2012 Standard KMS host computer to handle KMS clients with Windows 7, Windows 8, Office 2010 and Office 2013. And Windows Server 2008/2012 clients. Can I in any easy way upgrade my current KMS host so it can activate Win8.1/Server 2012 R2? Do anybody have the right .dat files I need. I have already installed kb/2885698 I like to run my own server on my network, I think it's the best solution for me.
How are you disconnecting the VM from the internet? I tried removing the gateway - assigning a fake gateway - turning off the DHCP Server. slmgr reports it cannot contact a KMS Server. If i give a gateway to the internet. It works I just tried on a linux box with QEMU with a tap bridge and it did activate Windows 8.1 Enterprise offline on another machine. Sorry, MY MISTAKE.
