That's my understanding as well..if local-host works, MTK with V6 will be a breeze..but I'm not so sure
Yes localhost, 127.x.x.x ip range. But all private IPv4 addresses over local or virtual network are fine. Private Network IP Ranges : 24-bit block10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255 20-bit block172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 16-bit block192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
R U sure? Tried setting NIC in KMSMicro.ini.. same result as localhost. That's just circumventing loopback.
For Windows 8.1 It No. in same PC. But Yes. You can Activation for two PC in local network. - PC A : 192.168.1.10 - and run KMSmicro on this PC. - PC B : 192.168.1.11 - "PC B" request Activation to "PC A" by IPv4(Don't install TAP-Driver). On "PC B" can activated.
127.0.0.1 works fine using kmsmicro. Be sure to set the ip to this on the settings tab and network 127.0.0.2 radio button set. I have kmsmicro on windows 7 VM with bridged network. ksmmicro is accessible anywhere on my lan. No worrys.
My sincere apologies, everyone. I meant no offence, my temper gets the better of me sometimes. Need to go back to the anger management sessions after all I guess
Just wanna make things clear... While upgrading from 8.0 VL (which was activated using MTK), need to run KMSMicro after upgrading to 8.1( via Windows store), correct? Or does it have to be clean install in order to use KMSMicro? Thanks a million in advance.
I tried with no net and no bridge, just tap1 and it failed with unable to contact the KMS server error, same error it gave me originally before I sync'd the time server
It doesn't matter, just make sure that you have uninstalled any KMS tools and disable any VPN. The guy didn't elaborate so I just brought it up for interest, I would rather stay with Ratiborus original process.
