On my PC Qemu does not start when the cmd-file it is not started ''as administrator ". The above forwarding rule works well on mine PC. My '' stderr.txt'' shows that qemu is missing 2 files: kvmapic.bin and pxe-e1000.rom. But qemu.exe starts and does his job. Put these two files back in de directory where qemu.exe resides.
Is there a workaround to let it work with Windows 8 Pro N? (E.g., if there is a way to install Windows 8.1 Pro (not N) as an upgrade for Windows 8 Pro N.. )
Can anyone please help - I've installed Window 8.1 Enterprise edition and have followed all the instructions for KMSmicro 5.0.1 but when I click on 'Activate Windows' I get the following error message:- View attachment 25017 Help!!!!
you need to set the UTC to your location for example I live in California so I set the time to (UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada) make sure you choose the right + or - symbol right after the utc for example --->(UTC-08:00)
i read through some of the posts in this thread ... it mentioned three ways to activate windows 8.1 - using KMSpico or you can also do the manual steps to activate, lastly the KMSmicro... i would like to ask which is the best way or preferred way to activate the windows 8.1?... is this a raw installation when you install windows 8.1 ... i mean it will remove all your existing programs and documents... or it will only do an update over the windows 8.0 and all your programs & documents will remain untouched ... so i do not have to re-install my microsoft office programs... please advise and thanks in advance... cheers,
how is your current 8 activated? rouge? If it was official you can upgrade without no issues. if not you can upgrade by keeping all data but you will be faced with any of the available methods to activate it for 180 days using the KMS way
my current windows 8 version was activated using manual steps and Microsoft Toolkit 2p4p7 for extension... you mean i can keep all my microsoft office programs when i upgrade to windows 8.1 ... no need to re-install all my current programs in the drive... thanks for your answers... cheers,
surely you will keep all that stuff but your activations will be gone at first hand. New activation will be required for both 8.1 and office. New methods are discussed on the hot table these days
