paul, my five microsoft office products were done by phone activation and it was the full activation and i have not done any extension to my five microsoft office products... do you mean my office products full activation will be gone when i updated to windows 8.1 even though i do not have to re-install the office products after the update ... is this correct?... cheers,
Is your key retail? If yes, no issues; just reenter it after upgrade and you're set. Else you have to reactivate. Yes, you are right. You don't have to reinstall Office but you have to activate (unless it is retail).
faikee, you mentioned to restore the office activation in 8.1 back to folder 2.0 ... is it the path is c:\windows\system32\spp\store\2.0 or c:\windows\system32\spp\2.0? ... can you provide the correct path?... how about the restore for the project and visio? ... project & visio have different product key ... do i just enter the project & visio product key the same as office product key (total three times) ... the system will know which key is for office, project and visio... please advise... cheers,
Thanks, I've activated Office 2013 on Win 8.1 successfully. P.S. I replaced kmsmicro.rom by the same name file in "KMSmicro_v5_0_1_RU_EN_ES" , and modified TimeZone to correspond to my location.
I installed the program and I clicked a button, the only one in the program, and it activated it for 180 days...
Page 117 post #1161 is about a stripped version of KMSmicro 5.0. The stripped version starts with '' local parameters " and also with " forward parameters " Activation on the machine where KMSmicro is running does not work. Activation is only succesfull on other machines in the LAN. Can someone tell me more about running KMSmicro locally.
KMSmicro 5.x also activates on a LAN without the TAP driver, so I don't understand the point of the PCBeta guy version. I would rather stay with the original that has been used and tested.
ReadMe_EN.txt has all the information you need to know... btw, most of the ppl dont even read the ReadMe's and came here for help and asking questions that are ALREADY written in that file.
I ran the program on the local machine (where I installed windows 8.1) and it activated my Windows 8.1. Is that ok?
I stripped down KMSmicro to a minimum number of files. With the help of the ReadMe I managed to start the mini-KMSmicro server and activate other PC's on the LAN. But activating the local PC did not work. If you have a suggestion, just give me a hint.
