kms activation and booting w8 from memory.

    i installed w8 pro to a vhd. used kmspico portable 4.3 to activate. activated ok.

    i boot the same vhd from memory ( using firadisk & grub4dos ) it shows 'not activated'.

    if i rerun kmspico portable while w8 is booted from memory, it shows activated.

    (the vhd on the hdd remains untouched when it is booted from memory), so if i reboot the same vhd again (not from memory) it remains activated.

    booting from memory seems to change the activation status.

    any solution ?

    No clear idea but when you boot from memory some hardware hashes contribute toward activation status are changing. So best solution is to use KMS server service or autorun to activated at startup...
