For those of you you are using the KMS server disconnected from th einternet and weho don't want to wait 20+ minutes for the "NetTime" to timeout, simply mount the VHD in Windows 8 and then edit the "configuration.cmd" file in the kms folder and delete the 2-3 first line that call NetTime.
Problem here is without internet connection you can´t sync and due to that not activate. Tested this trick and it´s unfortunately not working that way.
Must confess, i was wrong here. Tested again with only internet cable plugged out and it´s working now. My bad...dont hit me please .
Or use original magnets from my stickies DOWNLOAD-section. Told the thread starter to post them in code boxes, due to they are highly case sensitiv.
Yep you can do this. The reason for the internet time sync was people were having problems with the KMS program and the computer to be activated not being on the same time. So yes, you can do this suggestion, BUT then manually check that KMSmicro is on the same timeas the computer in question . first page updated
I thought this was a given, to stop automatic uploading by snooping machines. BUT if people want it perfect will fix
so how to sync time in qemu ?? please give step by step instructions. if this sync setting is in qemu then the problem is same, it stucks on Please Wait won't give options ?? (without Internet Connection) Edit: didn't see Updated first post. i can't find configration.cmd file in kmsMicro v7 ??
Yes didnt realize about the spaces, coz I could convert them to torrent files so guessed it was ok Thx
can't figure it out i am running V7 so i mount C:\KMSmicro\qemu\Image\KMSmicroV7.vhd it became this F:\kmshost and inside this it has only two files named firewall.cmd , configuration.cmd and a folder named NETTIME. so what do i run ?
My mistake . You have to do it better in the quemu-host while is running, due to no possibility to make these changes in *.vhd-file by mounting it. My bad . Will change the tutorial, thanks for pointing me at this.
