Firstly Great Project here. I did a complete rebuild using your program and installed the final new build on vmware windows update offered me 2 additional updates that does not seem to be included within yur database they are KB2685811 & KB2685813 Regards EDIT "not integratable" - I understand now!
Hello, Im new to all this but i ve read about LDE/QFE updates and i was thinking - is it a bad idea to use kuc on an already running win7 x64 with all drivers etc isntalled(installed from win7 refresh MSDN iso with lang pack installed) instead of integrating updates ? If Yes the best way is to first remove updates - then copy and then isntall new ones right ?
Its perfectly fine to use on a live install (probably better) and yes, kuc does recommend you uninstall the old/superseded updates before you install the new ones (use the cmd's generated for more precise results and you may need to run kuc a couple of times)
heheheheh, LOL; NO good luck with your midterms Komm and many thanks. Just as an aside, are you running Windows 8, and if so, how do you like it?
Thank you But using W8-KUC at the moment and download of 4 files from server failed: KB2742614 KB2784154 KB2742616 KB2757638
komm, KUC (W7) indicates that the KB2492386 KB2695321-v2 KB2757702 are missing, but these hotfix are superseded? Thanks for your great work
Depents on your system and wishes. 2492386 is only superseded for x86. The x64 version contains windows-a..ence-mitigations-c2 not part of 2762895x64 2695321 sets registry key(s) (not set in any update else) if you can proof that this key(s) is/are not needed any more, its superseded. 2757702 is only superseded if WMF 3.0 is installed
no sorry i did not explaion, your w8 reported that it needed to be removed and it should not be removed, and also it is intergratable, i have it injected... Code: Package_for_KB2770816~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.2.1.1 | Install Pending | Update | 21/01/2013 11:27
komm you should think about making KUC work with a external updates database so others can keep updated while you are away Open source it (kinda)
Thanks for this explanation In fact, with the KB2492386 there is "windows-a .. ence-mitigations-c2" for wow64 McRip moved this hotfix in Satisfy WU, and removed the KB2695321-v2, why I am asked Ok for 2757702, I have not installed WMF 3.0, so I have to install this hotfix But 2757702 superseded by 2781512, no?
