The v.1.3.008.2422 works fine but not v.1.3.008.2801 (as well as v.1.3.008.2701)

2732072 also contains windows-bitsrealisticestimate (sets the registry value bitsrealisticestimate - still used in the latest qmgr.dll)
if you set the value manually it's superseded

Nice, great tool! BTW, where do you get these updates? Microsoft doesn't publish them, at least for public.

Thanks for reply, but where did you get these links? Or how people find out that there are new updates? Is it about trying higher kb number to see if there is something new?

    @Komm

Latest Windows 7 x64 Windows-Update-Checker release does not recognize Windows Management Framework 3.0 as installed (check box empty and greyed out) when checking mounted wim after capture in offline mode. It was installed live along with all the current WMF3 updates in sysprep.

    Change log:
    Code:
It should now be possible to install WMF 3.0 via KUC if:
    1. All other updates are installed
    2. The packages.txt file is created inside of KUC
    3. KUC finds .net 4 or .net45 installed
If KUC does not find .net4x installed WMF will be removed.
The problem is for DVDs I cannot easily detect if .net4 is installed.

Normal DVD images have no .net4, what is a pre-request for WMF.
So KUC will remove WMF to avoid startup problems.
That’s good for users with no knowledge but not for you.
In version 1.3.8.2701 I added a .net4 registry - check. But this makes no sense for an DVD image.
I see no quick solution. Do you use /DVD-image-dir or /vhd-drive?
What do you think about a command line switch like “/net4x-is-installed”.
A checkbox would also be possible, but you had to click this each time.
A command line switch also has the advantage that nobody uses it, except people who know what they are doing.

I use /vhd-drive for the mounted VHD when logged into Windows and /DVD-image after capture and wim is mounted offline. I attached what Update Checker sees looking at either the mounted VHD or the resultant captured image mounted offline prior to "full" update integration.

That sounds really good Komm. What I still do not understand is why Update Checker does not see the already installed WMF3 in "Select Options 1" or "Overview". For those features already installed or updates integrated it shows the relevant boxes checked in both...ie: WIF, IIs, Group Policy, WUA, RDP 8.0, PlatformUpdate....etc.

    Thanks

Is there a way to install .net 45 and all its updates on a offline image (DVD), and if yes, anybody can guide me... :worthy:
