Do you have RDP 8.0 or RDP 8.1 installed?

KUC does NOT handle these types of updates.

In case anyone runs into problems servicing their Win7 offline wim, I had a problem using the latest W7 KUC that resulted in a DISM Error 1168 trying to add KB2871997. The problem is that KUC removed the GDR and LDR for KB2922229 prior to adding new updates. Apparently, the superseded GDR still has to be there in order to install KB2871997. See log for details. To resolve the issue: Add obsoleted GDR, Add KB in Error, Remove obsoleted GDR

The dism commands are in the txt file. You only need to do this if you have this specific problem after running the latest W7 KUC.

    2871997, 2928134 and 2971997 all contain windows-kernelbase 6.1.7601.22616
so the problem may also be caused by the remove of 2928134 or some other update in the chain.
The dism-log indicates that the removal of 2922229 did not work correct.
You may also run in the same problem if you try to remove 2871997.

For x86 there are 4 not superseded updates, that contain the component: 2615701,2870165,2871997,2980344.

    And the list of superseded updates is even longer: 2503978, 2507938, 2532445, 2533623, 2534644, 2549760, 2567680, 2661672, 2725358, 2726535, 2731771, 2758857, 2790113, 2872339, 2896820, 2915847, 2922229, 2928134

Thank you very much for the latest KUC, komm. :worthy:

    ----------------
A note to all regarding the latest KUC for W8.1: komm wisely chose not to install the August rollup (KB2975719) since MS said it can cause problems. But for those of us who like to live dangerously ;) and choose to keep the rollup installed, the following updates suggested by KUC can be ignored since they're already included in or superseded by KB2975719:
