I manually uninstalled all the updates from the april tool (to diagnose another issue), and after I reinstalled them all, a lot of the windows updates are no longer there. Which is interesting but not great as is some inconsistency now. On my install media which has the april updates integrated the above updates are listed on WU.
ok this issue occurred on my laptop using the integrated install media, so I manually checked the updates showing in windows update on the csvfileview provided by KUC. 2967917 - installed 3077715 - installed 2989930 - installed 3012235 - installed 3013410 - missing 3013769 - installed 3013816 - installed 3027209 - missing 3046737 - installed 3054256 - installed 3112148 - installed 3123862 - installed 3137725 - installed also these in addition 3123862 - installed 3121261 - installed 3044374 - installed 3138615 - installed 3148851 - installed all the ones that say installed I am installing now from windows update to register them.
chrcoluk: The last version of KUC worked fine for me, but I didn't use an .iso with updates integrated- the updates were all installed online. To test if it's problem with your install .iso, you could try installing with an non-updated .iso and then use to KUC to update things, then check WU. If that worked, you'd want to focus on getting the .iso straightened out. Not sure what else to suggest.
My desktop which also had the problem wasn't installed with this iso. It seems the problem is with the updates not registering properly rather than not been installed, as I posted above KUC considered the updates installed except a couple of them. Also still got the problem that KUC tells me to manually copy 2 updates to the update folder, but doesnt tell me which 2 updates.
I'm experiencing a lot of issues using the latest KUC on my WIN7ENTx64 image. 1) If I use it on an untouched image I can't get IE11 installed and SP2 is never installed or found 2) I I use it on an image where in integrated 1- Servicing Stack Update (KB3020369), 2- Platform Update (KB2670838), 3- Security Update (KB3145739), 4- Security Update (KB3153199), 5- IE11 + Update:- IE11-KB2841134 + IE11-KB3154070 & 6- Finally: convenience rollup Update (KB3125574) I get an error on everything else that KUC tries to install Not sure if its me doing something wrong or what to try next UPDATE: I am sending a set of detailed reports to Komm UPDATE 2: KOMM has already addressed and fixed most of the issues I reported with his up coming release THANKS to KOMM for working with me on the items!!!
